Do you have an 87mm intake?
Stock TB from 5.3 intake on the NNBS intake. I do have the 90 that came with the intake though.

Thats what I had in my corvette after my 224 cam. The cam at that time just under being big (<230). It does perform well. Remember the truck manifolds are made for low end power. Although truck head may have slightly more compression, the valves are smaller. Thats your restriction.
