Default Yet another question...this time a cam question

Thus far I have the 7.4l Vortec motor in a 96 K2500 suburban.

My current modifications are a K&N fipk, superchip (hopefully wheatley soon), 160* stat, and a be cool aluminum radiator. I have heard of people over camming their trucks and having them not run right, but I'm afraid I wont see much benefit if I under cam it as well. I really want to put on Brodix Race Rite heads, but I havent done it yet. What would a good cam be for my current application? And would I still see benefits once the heads are on?

This a LS based motor majority website, so I wouldn't expect the best answer on that question. Not saying that some members on here wouldn't know, but I think your question could be answered better somewhere else that deals with mostly SBC stuff. Fullsizechevy or GMfullsize seem to have a larger OBS group/knowledge base. Good luck either way.
