Question CAM choice: TSP 228R or Lunati Voodoo?

im in a cross road on which cam to go with for my LQ4 motor. i plan on getting double valvesprings along with 7.4" pushrods in either cam choice. will be doing some angle valve job on the 317 heads as well and thats it in regards to the valvetrain. for the cam i dont plan on revving it above 6500 and dont really want to reaplce valvesprings every 20k miles so the cams above the lifts are below or just at .600.

i know a handful of ppl run the 228R but what about lunati cams? the one im particularly looking at is the Voodoo Hyd Roller Cam - LS1 LS2 282/288:
Advertised Duration (Int/Exh): 282/288
Duration @ .050 (Int/Exh): 232/238
Gross Valve Lift (Int/Exh): .599"/.601"
LSA/ICL: 113/109
Valve Lash (Int/Exh): Hyd/Hyd
RPM Range: 2400-7000

thoughts?

what do you mean bigger 'stall'? the lq4 is going into a 98 firebird....racing.

He means a "higher stalling" torque converter.

Okay I figured that was what he was asking. I plan on getting something like a 3400 stall in the near future.

I have that Voodoo in my LQ4 and you will love the sound of it, it's a hard lope. I was running it with a 3200 stall with a supercharger...
