Well this is some crappy news man... I hate to say it, but it hands down a tune issue. That was a lot of knock in that screen shot you posted. She was hating life and it looks like you stayed in it a bit. I know how it is though and it happens fast.

Sorry again man and hope you get it back together soon!

I don't think this is a fair statement, at least in this case. I'd bet any LS would have came out that data log hurt.

Ya it did have allot of knock, at that point I assumed it was already broke and the computer was picking up the excessive engine noise.

Yup the log I posted up was after she broke. The second it went I let of immediately and limited it to Rogers. I have a log from before it that I had zero knock but I never got on it.

Doing some reading it sounds like there is more that affects the tps than what I thought

These gen 4 motors are confusing as ****.

The motors are not its the damn computers, I dont like the new PCM's. The new PCM's are not as cut and dry as the older ones.

Very true. The general mechanics of a motor have not changed much at all over the years but the little electronic brain sure has.

Lots of pics and progress from today. Will upload in a sec once I get them off the camera.

Also was reading through this and found some good info

Why is PE not kicking in when Im commanding a low afr & instead gives me 14.7:1? - HP Tuners Bulletin Board
i have been fed the same line of crap before as well.
it's easier to say one doesn't know, than to lead someone down a trail of potential engine damage.

and yea, minus the motor issue the trans shifted amazing after making the changes you suggested. Much thanks again.
i bet the egt's were skyrocketing. i could have whipped up a timing map for ya if i would have seen that before hand.

not a problem on the trans stuff.
