That sucks man sorry to hear! I doubt you're going back stock internals but if you are I just pulled the rotating assembly out of mine and it's for sale..

Your wideband reading is characteristic of a dead cylinder. Have you logged fuel pressure delta at all? The power you're putting down is right about the point where my stock fuel pump really started falling off... It may have gone lean enough to detonate and kill a piston. Not to mention, not having a 2 bar MAP sensor makes it impossible for the ECM to deliver proper amount of fuel because it is unaware of any boost exceeding 128kpa in your manifold, so fuel pressure delta wouldn't give an accurate reading anyway. Anything beyond 128 and manifold pressure will make the amount of fuel delivered drop off.

Your Scan looks really weird, I dont get why your fueling is so up and down with a MAF. Also at the end of the scan Broke something for some reason it commands 12.24 afr? Why?26% TPS, 45kpa , 1000 rpm? However only once did it go into PE prior to that and it was over 60%tps. Frame 15410 is when this happens. I don't see why it didn't go into PE, and can't see why it commanded so rich as mentioned above. Your whole PE table is commanding 11.9afr anytime in PE. Hmm Hmm

Wasn't thinking of a dead cyl. causing the wacky fueling, and it did seem to start mid way through the log.

ak2007r6- Do you have any older logs?

Sorry to hear this bud.

I would swap short blocks with Rogers while he is not around.

Since the discussion has been brought up with # 7 cyl going bad/ bieng a culprit, could it be a flaw in the fuel mixture path feeding this cylinder with the stock manifold?? Just thinking out loud here.

And def. upgrade your pump for your next bullet

It also has to due with coolant flow from the best of my knowledge. I believe the fuel mixture theory only applies with the stock intake. ( Of course I believe he is running a stock intake)

Here is a log of the last run at the track before heading home.
Attached the config for it also. Same tune in this run as the one above.

Also Bill from HP Tuners wrote back when I posted up this questions on the HP Tuners Forum

I attached the log, tune and config. Can anyone smarter than I figure out why it did not enter PE. I have it set to enter at 45% TPS and I was well into 50% and it was still commanding 14.68
These use weird calculation ie ETC % area - idle offset %. You need to set it to values like 15-20% for traditional TPS/ETC% of 40-50%

Also was reading through this and found some good info

Why is PE not kicking in when Im commanding a low afr & instead gives me 14.7:1? - HP Tuners Bulletin Board

7 degree's at wot?!?!

trans tune looks familiar
Ya 7 degrees. I started very low and it seemed any time I tried to add timing I would get KR so I would always take it out. This next go around I will have Rogers hands on the tune a lot more. I am sure I made some little tweak somewhere that just kept compounding and leading up to today's event.

and yea, minus the motor issue the trans shifted amazing after making the changes you suggested. Much thanks again.
