Only one head got messed up, so only one will get replaced. As for the old one, You'd have to take that up with Andy. The shipping from Alaska to you will probably cost you more than the head.....

There isn't anywhere in Alaska that I'd trust to weld/repair any cylinder head.

Hey lets not bash the new ECMs You can make em dance, just takes a little more effort. How did the rods look? That far into the engine yet?

So what pistons are you thinking about?

Are there anything special about the LSA / LS9 pistons/ internals that may be worth while looking into??

Not sure on pistons. Up till a few months ago the most I ever did was a cai and exhaust so this is all new to me but loving learning and am glad I have not drove Roger nuts with questions and hanging around his shop. I think once we get the block checked out and assured it's not to damaged we will look at how much to bore out then shop for pistons.

And then a cam and converter.

If I feel really rich maybe ARH

At a minimum I want to get everything that is easier with the motor out done now. Cam, converter, obviously new pistons, ARP treatment and all the other little details. LT's would be nice but I can do those later with the motor back in.

I understand bro. I do all the welding i my shop so I know it right. I will check shipping and talk to Andy. I can use a head for flow testing.
