Default :( Broke the 6.2....

Well a couple weeks ago after our track day I was on my way home and before pulling into the house decided to record a nice smokey burnout on the GoPro. ABS fuses were out, was in full track setup and decided to have fun.

Here is the burnout.

Well I ended up letting off during the burnout cause it started running like ****, tons of knock and miss fire. I limped it home and went to work the next day for 2 weeks.

Fast forward to today. I go back out and log everything and fire the truck up. Starts up fine, idles fine and no miss fire or knock. Drive to gas station not getting on it and it seems ok. Leave the gas station and drive to Rogers shop to have him take a look to make sure nothing was injured and a 100 yards from his shop I get into boost just every so slightly and something lets go. Run's like ****. Very noticeable knocking sound and miss fires like crazy.

Sooooo... I had planned to pull the motor this winter and go over it.. looks like that's happening sooner than I though. We are not positive what exactly broke but will know by the weekend.

So once we get an idea of what's broke.. what it's going to take to fix it we will go from there. I am also seriously considering if I can pull it off while the motor is out to go ARP Studs, get a Yank 3400 stall and a custom ground cam. Not sure how all that will work, but now is the time to do it with the motor out.

Looking back at the log we think we found what happened. Not sure why but when I got into boost a little the truck never entered PE. I have it set to enter PE at 45% TPS and I was well over 50% and it was still commanding 14.68

I attached my tune and a log and config if anyone has any insight into it.

Will update more as the motor is torn apart and we see how bad it is. For now I am chalking this up to a tuning mistake on my part but Roger and I are both not sure since everything we can see says it should have entered PE...

Here is the tune, log and config. I linked them from my Dropbox since the tune is to big for the forum to upload

Ya. Not the best of days.

I can't help be pissed and excited at the same time though. While it sucks it's broke this might just be the push I need to pull some money out of my *** and get some more supporting mods while the motor is out

Here is a screen shot of the section when it all happened.

4k RPM 60MPH and 52% TPS.
It should have been commanding mid 11's for my AFR like I have it set to instead of the 14.68 it is in the log
