Default Lifter suggestions

Hi I need some new lifters in my 370 that I'm building. I had ls7 lifters in this motor when it was a lq9 std 4" bore and I sprayed it with a 150 shot and melted a hole in the #7 piston. I can't remember if it was the intake or exhaust on the #7 but one of my lifters cracked around the roller but luckily didn't trash the cam or cause any further damage. So now I don't want to use them and use a nicer more reliable lifter with link bars. It's a rcsb with a t56, 4.56s, and a 234/242 .629/.629 112 eps pat g with PAC 1209x springs rated to .750 lift. Stock rockers with the trunion upgrade and a 7.425 pushrod. It may get to 6500rpm every now and then but this is my daily driver so won't be punished 24/7

I'd like to keep the cost under $400 and have these lifters in mind

Morel 5290

Lunati 72332

Howard's cams 91166

Any good or bad or any other suggestions would be great. Thanks!

To stay within your budget, get the Morel 5290 from Brian Tooley Racing.

By the way, Morel makes the Lunati lifters.

I had heard that before. Does lunati do anything different to them once they get them or are they exactly the same?

No. The tie bar keeps the lifters from turning like the stock tray does on a factory style lifter.

Like was said, the link bar lifters eliminate the need for lifter trays.

so once you go to this style lifter you cant do the cam trick with dowels .to change cam .since the lifter tray hold lifter up while you change cam
