Default advice on valve train for 6.0

Picked up a Lunati 55003 LUN cam and need to see what I need for a valve train.

Thought I would stop here first to get input on it,

Advertised Duration (Int/Exh): 282/287
Duration @ .050 (Int/Exh): 218/221
Gross Valve Lift (Int/Exh): .526/.534
LSA/ICL: 116/112
Valve Lash (Int/Exh): Hyd/Hyd
RPM Range: 2000-500

will the GM valve train work with this cam?

Thanks for any help

Neal

Some new lifters and figure out what size pushrods you need and you are fine.

Stock rockers will be okay.

Thanks for the input,

ended up going talk with the guy I got the cam from and he handed me the valve springs, retainers, keepers and the seals that go with the cam, so that's covered for now.

He also handed me a set of bare heads, they have 806 cast into them and I have a set of 817's, so now I have to decide which ones will be the best for my build and bring them to a buddy of mine that has volunteered to do some porting for me.

He did a set for another buddy with the exact same cam in a 6.0 that is in a Maverick that turned out over 400 HP at the wheels with some tuning.

A trunion upgrade is cheap insurance while you are doing the work.

I'd run the 806s. They have 66cc chambers. Get a little bump in scr over the stock 317s.

Can't find anything on a 817. Search shows its a casting for a 400 block.

They are from a 02 6.0 so it looks like they should be 317's

are they aluminum?

If they are 317s, I'd run them instead. Mill them down if you want to bump compression
