Damn man that moving. I need to get my truck moving like that. I'm tired of it being so slow.

I guess that's what mine is doing. First stall I have ever had. But I feel the power is there just not being made to the ground. It's disappointing. Lol. That's what it is all about.

Would a loser converter wake it up the much go from a 14.6 to 13.2/13.1 I would be super happy with a 13.5

So I have been thinking about this all day I really don't want to buy another converter.

From what it seems like is the converter is to tight.
What is a good converter that will wake my truck up.

I ran an 8.2 @ 82mph in a 2000 ECSB 1500 2wd 5.3 with cam, bolt-ons, converter, gears, and slicks pretty much. A converter will drop your times .3 - .5 if you've got traction off the line. The easiest way to drop time in a drag race is off the line. If you can drop a tenth or two off your 60ft, it'll materialize into a larger gain at the finish line. Once you get a consistent 60 ft time, it's time to add power and mph.

Couldn't have said it better myself. Your biggest gains come off the line. Once you get your launch dialed in, you can utilize more power to pick up speed down the track
