What was your exact setup last night? From top to bottom. What does the truck feel like it's doing when your hitting the skinny pedal? How are you launching and what converter are you running? Tires and psi?

Truck is stock bottom end (new rings, bearings) tfs 216/220 560/560, fully ported heads Lloyd Elliott le2 heads valves are 2.02/1.60, Pace setter l/t's and y pipe 3" spintech pro street 6000 muffler yank pro truck 3200 stall, Stock 180k 60e, stock gears 265/65/18 street tires, 2" drop shackles, don't know what my tire pressure was. Truck made 325/356.

I do a little burn out to clean the tires off. Once I start to stage the truck stall it up to about 2000. Put tow haul on put into 3rd and stomp it to the floor. It was hooking good but it feels like it not all there (if that makes sense) I think it more like a trans or rear end. It just doesn't seem like it putting the power to the ground. I feel like it loses to much rpm when it shifts. And like it won't hold the power.

Wrong converter, simply.

The pro trucks are for big power, FI apps.

r u sure that your trans isnt slipping? a looser converter would help for sure as well as some sticky tires

I do plan on putting some nitrous on the truck when I get everything else right.

I don't think so rpm's don't jump around.

Would gears help that converter out? Or would it be best to change to something else?

It should be a lot better with nitrous. I used to have a PT3600 backing a h/c 6.0 and it was a tight bitch. I wouldlove to see how it would have reacted with my current power. I really like my circleD converter though. Chris nailed it.

What you mean by tight is. It takes a lot of throttle to make it flash? Cuz I have noticed it does take a lot of throttle to make it flash.

Before I put the nitrous on the truck I need to see what it's going to before. But if it's not going to run 100% with that converter withou nitrouse then I guess I see how far I can get.

Ya sounds like my circle d in my truck.. Too tight n/a. Nice for street driving needs a different converter to wake it up n/a. My truck has 4:10 gear it's just lazy, and really heavy.
