Default 5.3 to LQ9 swap with L92 Heads VVT

I have a 2002 yukon that i want to swap out my 5.3 to an LQ9 with L92 heads>> what i need help on is i wanna know if i can use the stock L92 intake, exhaust manifolds? what about wiring? MAF? and VVT? i think the L92 off a 07 escalade has VVT technology...how does that work? do i have to delete this feauture in my swap or can i still keep it active? would the stock
L92 cam from 07 escalade fit, work?

I'm assuming that you looking at an actual LQ9 block.... Gen III not Gen IV like an L92.

VVT has nothing to do with the heads no matter what they came off of. And you don't have a way to control it in an older vehicle. You don't want it.

With L92 heads, you will have the use the stock L92 intake or an aftermarket rectangular port head. Reuse your old exhaust manifold or better yet, get headers. Reuse your existing MAF.

You should use a normal 3 bolt cam and 3 bolt cam gear. L92 cam won't work.

Yeah LQ9 off an 02 Escalade...and the heads r off a good running 6.2 engine.

U think i should upgrade the springs and pushrods or will the stock ones work fine?

as far as the exhaust manifold...whats the difference between my 5.3, LQ9, and the L92...i kinda wanted to use the ones off the L92 since they are newer??

Catalyc converters on my truck are no good anymore...at least i think cause im getting a P0420 and P0430 ever since i changed my 02 sensors, will i be able to use the stock cats off the 6.2??

any cam suggestions? its my daily driver and im not racing it around just wa nt more torque and power since i feel my truck has a slow take off and i tow every now and then...at the same time i dont want the engine to rumble like a race car, i would like to keep a stock feel and idle or at least close to it

keep the cam small. most guys with L92 heads have 'small' cams

I would leave them, unless you are going to upgrade the cam.

They will bolt up to the heads, but I'm not sure if they will bolt up to your existing y-pipe. Since your cats are bad, this would be a good time for headers.

With L92 heads, the consensus is low intake duration, 10-14 split in intake/exhaust durations, wide LSA (larger than 114), and no overlap.
