Most guys will upgrade to the fans as an early on mod. We do not provide them, they are just the later factory fans with a relay harness setup from many different retailers in the car industry. Stock bottom end is plenty strong for 8# of boost. We gained over 150 whp on a stock 6.0/ 4l80e 4x4 silverado with 160k miles.

Yes, but a good set of heads/cam/exhaust will help the motor make more power more efficiently and easier with less boost also

Out of curiosity, why are you stuck on the number 450? Do you plan to race the truck any

Yes the engine should be fine at 450 whp. Like MrHorsepowerLSx said supportive mods will help free up untapped horsepower by letting the supercharger utilize the airflow better in the engine.

450 NA is a long shot and the cam needed to get you there will make street manners suffer, easily obtainable with FI tho. FWIW I was in the neighborhood of 410 RWHP NA with an LQ9, and was running low 12’s.

The truck now has over 600rwhp and I still drive it almost every day

Only point I was saying is that anything over 400 to the tire is going to feel like a monster on the street

Look into a custom grind cam, companies can help spec you out a cam best suited for your needs.
