The truck now has over 600rwhp and I still drive it almost every day

Only point I was saying is that anything over 400 to the tire is going to feel like a monster on the street
Off topic, but would you be willing to list your mods to make 410 rwhp? I have an LQ9 rebuilt on the stand, doing my research now for a future game plan. Would like to stay with cathedral port heads.

I built a 427ci LS3 and only made 430rwhp for way more than $2500

Forced induction is the only way to get there on that budget.

On a budget lol 3100$ is still over and I would need to get an electric fan and injectors but still think I will go that way easiest way to get 450-500hp

Got the engine apart to where I think i am for the supercharger pistons look good lifters ect. My plan is to get new oil pump and seal new head gaskets and should I have my heads (317s) cleaned up and checked only 110k miles on them, should I mill them some to get compression up a little even if im running a supercharger thanks again guys.

You don’t have to get carried away with the 317’s.

If your going to boost it, I wouldn’t mill the heads any, if you have some concerns about the heads not being square, a light surface cleanup can be performed think .003”, almost nothing removed. But a razor blade does good as well if the heads are in good shape. As far as the oil pump goes, if the motor made good oil pressure before disassembly, I wouldn’t replace it. If you wish you can open up the ring gaps a bit, that will Help the motor survive a little longer against the high combustion heat

Dont really want to take pistons out but It made like 30-35psi i think I just dont want to blow a head gasket on boost.

What makes you think you would blow a head gasket?

Slap some LS9 gaskets on it with some head studs and let it rip
