I'd say you want it to be a little rich at part throttle cruising, probably between 14.3 and 14.7, just to be on the safe side. Once you get the tune nailed down 14.7 is where you want to be when cruising, and I'd say 12.7-13.0 at WOT.

I run 15.5-16.5 in my cruise areas on the PE map. The american man's lean cruise.
But you can't do that Cody unless you stay in open loop and turn off the O2's.

but on the other hand congrats and hope you don't but i would pull it.
Well the biggest problem is that no matter how hard we try we are all still human and make mistakes. It sucked cleaning up almost 6 quarts of oil that spewed all over the ground and everything else that is on the driverside of the block but atleast it wasnt as bad as it could have been. If I had to do it all over again I would get the WCCH team to take care of me again they are a first class place and their customer service cant be beat. It could have been alot worse but nothing happened and everything is fine now.

If only I could figure out why my damn temp sensor wont register anything I could go drive the POS

BTW my oil pressure gauge is reading really high at idle(~72), is that what is should be Rex? Im not sure if my gauge is perfectly right after putting the overlay on but I readjusted it once already so it should be within 5psi.

anyway, the way I see it without all the info, your running a higher tension spring(shimmed) and straight 40w. Some people don't like to see that much oil pressure at idle, some people don't mind it. There are reasons for both views. Long story short, I'd put it in gear, keep your foot on the brake, observe and record oil pressure; break your engine in the way Rex told you too, switch to the kind of oil you will run regularly, then re-evaluate.
You might want to drop your filter/replace it and cut it open to see whats inside just to be on the safe side.

For some reason my brakes arent working right now either so I need to check that out too. I knew there were going to be some problems with the truck sitting for 15 months. 72 is in park and neutral.

put it in gear, keeping your foot on the brake(i.e. load), see what happens
