Not at ALL, they used to work alright when the truck was off when I would push it aorund and such but since I started it up I dont have any brakes at all. Fluid is a bit low so I dont know if that is it or not. Next up Ill check the vacuum hose after I top off the fluid. Just a bunch of little bugs to work through to get it up and running.

Unfortunately brakes are one of the first things to go when a vehicle sits for a while. Probably just a new master is needed if you have none. Or a caliper has blown out and you pumped it out of fluid. You'd see the mess inside a wheel if the case.

Yeah teh driverside rear was leaking fluid out of the banjo fitting a while back but it isnt anymore. Im going to get some new fluid and new brass washers to replace on the banjp fittings and hope that does the trick.

If I had to do it all over again I would get the WCCH team to take care of me again they are a first class place and their customer service cant be beat. It could have been alot worse but nothing happened and everything is fine now.

If only I could figure out why my damn temp sensor wont register anything I could go drive the POS

BTW my oil pressure gauge is reading really high at idle(~72), is that what is should be Rex? Im not sure if my gauge is perfectly right after putting the overlay on but I readjusted it once already so it should be within 5psi.
Thanks Cody, Dont worry about the hi oil pressure it will drop when the engine gets up to full operating temp, change the filter anytime just to be safe and use A quality part,(I dont like cheap filters).call me anytime if I can help. I wanna see A burnout clip. After proper breakin and tune. Rex...

I use AC Delco filters. After I get through messing with the brake stuff and trying to burp the coolant Im going to change the oil in it then again after I get a few miles on it.

Ok got the ECT sensor lined out, it was the plug with a nice layer of goo stuck inside it that was causing the non-working ECT gauge. I think it also had to do with a little air pocket in the head. When I was pulling the temp sensor out to replace with a new one you could hear some air rush out before water did, not very much but enough to cause some problems. So for future reference for guys having problems burping their system you may want to pull the temp sensor out and make sure you dont have an air pocket there. Here is a pic of the old plug

Rex this video is just for you

This one shows just how quiet the valvetrain/motor is, I was pleasantly surprised it has only a hint of the 918 "tick" even though they are Patriot Extreme Dual Golds otherwise the lifters and everything else are quiet as a mouse

And here is a pic of my gauges at idle in park warmed up to operating temp, I let the truck idle for a few more minutes after this pic and the ECTs never went up any more

I fiddled with the brakes a bit more while I was out there, I topped off the master cylinder reservoir and here is the wierd thing. When I rolled the truck out the garage just a little to get the exhaust going outside the brakes worked like manual brakes and stopped the truck but when I have the truck running they dont do anything, Im no brake expert so any suggestions of where to start looking would be appreciated. Russels stainless lines, Hawk ceramic pads and new fluid is going in Friday night and hopefully that will cure my brake problems.

bleed the breaks again. start with the one furthest away from back passanger side and then the back driver , then pass front then the drivers front and don't let it ever run low on break fluid. I pump the break 10 times on each wheel to make sure I get all the air out. you probably already know this but sometimes I forget the basics. LOL

Are the symptoms Im describing indicative of no vacuum being pulled on the brake booster?
