JK, truck sounds good, did you use the 4bbl tb and the carb hat?
I was going to say the same thing. I thought it was an OCC pic at first. Sorry about your truck. Did you really get a ticket for the oil or were you joking?

Default Sorry Cody !

OK, Sorry if I left the plug out and your dad had to come over and clean up the oil mess up.I hope you are not running royal purple for break- in. Conventional 30 or 40w oil is all that I recommend. I take the blame for all that mess. It SOUNDS really good

I don't believe that was Cody's truck.

Please take a vid of it running, then pan over to the VIN plate and your insurance card for verification.

So it was a good weekend in Austin and Penfield, NY

Congrats Cody! There is no feeling like a truck moving under it's own power after a long hiatus.

Thanks guys, yeah its good to get this thing started up and actually moving under its own power. Im going to start it up today and run it out on the street real quick and see if maybe its just and air pocket in the cooling system because the temp gauge was working when the truck went down and it looks to be in good condition, plus I want to drive it some

Rex, james was being retarded, Im running straight 40 like you told me, and I added in some of the GM EOS stuff for good measure.

It didnt really sound like it in the video but it does try to catch a bit of a lope which I was really surprised with the small cam and big cubes Im running, it should lope pretty well once the idle is dropped down a bit.

The WB reads ~14.7 at idle is that right? What should it read when I go to drive it while giving it gas, Im not going to be flooring it just driving normal since I have no temp sensor and will really be just a test drive to make sure the trans works right and locks up in OD. I know at WOT it should be 13 or richer.

Should be 14.6-14.7 until you enter Power enrichment and then you should be about 12.6-13.0. And if you have any lockup problems with the converter (like random locking and unlocking), check the misfire tables in the tune, they may need raised some, its very common for stalled and cammed autos.

I should be getting your measurments soon too, I'll be under the hood changing his cam out probably within the next month.
