The stuff comes off easy with some nonchloro brake cleaner and a paper towel its just I cant get to all teh spots I taped off without taking the header off thats the pisser. It comes off easily its just not easy to get in a position to take it off. Ive pretty much decided Im buying a welder. I have put it off too long. Now I need to decide, milllermatic 140 or lincoln 135 pro-mig both are 110 which is all I can use since I only have a 110 plug in the garage.

Sorry to see your curse continue Cody.
How about dragging the truck to a local muffler shop? They can fix the..........huh, huh.........bung hole for the O2 sensor and bend up a nice Y-pipe couldn't they?
For the adhesive on the exhaust pipe get a bottle of Goo Gone from a local Walgreens or other general merchandise store. It works pretty good for a non industrial adhesive remover. If that doesn't work, then you'll need to visit an auto body paint store and get a can of 3M Adhesive Tape Remover. That stuff is the bomb especially for old masking tape.
Good luck chief

You can't go wrong with the miller or lincoln. If you need more than 110 power you can build a 220 extension cord to plug into a dryer outlet. For muffler tubing, the 110 is plenty.
