Well...did about 100 VERY calm miles this weekend just locally. Its turned really cold in the past 6hrs and its not really liken' that and stalling a bit, struggling with cold starts. It shud do some learning hopefully...did the rear end break-in (~10 easy miles followed by complete cool down x3) and all seems good. Have a nasty squeel coming off the serp belt...cud be from sitting for so long. Thot it was the AC compressor tensioner, but chanhed it and that wasn't it. Sprayed some carb cleaner on the main belt and that seemd to fix it...cud be the belt is slipping as its awefully tight...if so I'll go to the next size up (I have no idea what size is on there now, but all the pulleys seem fine). Other than that the only thing buggin' me is the TC (2800) seems to lock up on the hi-way around 60mph when cruising and it makes it feel overshifted/rich/boggy...I dunno if this can be tuned with shift points or if I need a diff TC? Any recommendations wud be welcome.
PS...I'll post a sound clip of start up and rev later 2nite. R/

Mess around with the TCC lockup settings, you can change the speed at which it will lock and unlock at.

Thnx Grippy! Runs pretty good and I'm really babying it... Small tuning bugs to deal with is all. Winter up here is a good time to take delivery of a new motor, as traction prevents u from goin nuts and cool temps keep heat stress down.

He is your twin,,,almost. We got the truck working pretty good now the 4L80 is getting completely rebuilt. I wish I had both of your trucks from the start.Fixing problems caused from other shops sucks.
Come here for tuning and never leave
