Looks like tuning is about completed Thnx to SLOWHAWK - he really saved my ***...might be back by the weekend! Still way below my power targets (430-440rwhp, 500 torq @ 8lbs), but at least its running. I'll be happy to get more than 2000 miles without probs... I won't bore everyone with what further probs we found since my last update, but I can understand why I'm not getting the power with my builder's capabilities
! I won't let these guys put air in my tires any more...R/

Plenty of SOTP power. I'll have to make time to get to the track and see what I really have...no more babying it tho. R/

It's about time brother!! Glad to hear you have it back in your possession...forget the leaky leaky problem and just fill it with a quart of oil everyday and be done with it!! Now we need some vids!!
Every project truck from last year is almost finished!

Julien, here's a crappy burnout vid...my camera man was having trouble deciding when to start the vid! It was costly tho...snapped a rocker (comp 1.75) on #8 - broke off the retainer ring that surrounds the bearing & wristpin...I'll post some pix 2mrw.
Also, drivin up thru the mtns with short hard bursts and lots of up & down shifts, tranny temp lite came on. This is a fresh rebuild 4L80. I was told that boosting up hills is considered abuse. I gotta admit I didn"t build a forged motor, upgrade the rr and swap to a built 4L80 to drive like Miss Daisy! I've decided this isn't going to be my daily driver anymore
...Now I have to decide whaqt to buy instead.
