243's if you got cathedral intake manifold n don't feel like swaping or l92 if you feel like swapin intakes l92's flow better

Ported L92's will kill your low/mid range. If anything stock L92's will flow far enough. I still wouldn't run L92's in your app. For your app I'd go with neither. The 243's are just going to bump up your compression and that's it. Heads are good for north of 4000, so if your looking for more low/mid power choose mods that work in that rpm window.

^^^x-2 get 243's bump compression: torque // l92 needs RPM to get them going //
get mid lift cam for some massive torque...

+1, opening the heads up to that much air is going to more beneficial in the higher RPM's...I'd consider maybe just milling the 317's that are on your engine now to bump up the compression, or going with the 243's for the same results, only you'd be able to get even more compression out of it. 243's and 317's have basically the same runners, with different size combustion chambers btw. As for a cam, if you're looking for low/mid, I'd go with something like the Vinci Trucker (as I often recommend lol). There's a dyno graph of this cam in a 6.0 and it has an almost identical power band of the Comp 212/218 in a 5.3, only with more substantial numbers of course

i wouldnt mill the 317s the chamber design sucks compared to any other ls head , 243's have have more velocity than l92s which will create that low end your looking for....do you have any plans of boost in your future?
