Default 232/236 612/619 114 in a 408?

I just received my cam from Comp Cams. It was supposed to be a
232/236 595/602 114 but this is what I got. 232/236 612/619 114 sounds good to me but I just want to make sure I don't bend anything.

My build is :
2003 SSS
408 stroker with Eagle kit, 4.030 bore size, 6.125 rod lenght, -2cc flat top pistons.
World Products Cylinder Heads. 72cc, 235cc Link : http://www.worldcastings.com/prods_p...arhawkls1x.htm
CR 10.6 :1
1.75:1 Pro-Magnum Rocker Arm Kit (adds about .008 lift)
Pro Magnum Hydraulic Roller Lifters
Hi-Tech™ Pushrods 7.4" x 5/16"
Accel High Impedance Injectors 62 lbs/hr 74620S Link : Accel Injectors

Only thing you left out is what size stall. I think that is a damn good cam especially if you put alot of city miles on the truck. If it is just a weekend warrior that mileage isnt a concern then you could step it up a few degrees more depending on the stall speed you go with.

Thanks, the truck is a DD and my stall is 3000. They even sent me some -3.84cc arias pistons that was a surprise also. Not the same co. of course.

Good cam choice then, some will say go larger but Im a fan of more power under the curve and better driveability.

With all the calculations I made, I come to a SCR of 10.7:1 and DCR of 8.5:1

Is that good?

same thing happened to me when Richard ordered my cam from comp. They mixed up the lobe numbers which through off the int and exh lift. I would have them regrind you a new cam that is what you ordered.

Yeah, those are warranty parts and the motor is being build as we speak. I can live with that. It's different cam for sure. I was more concerned for the heads VS high lift.
I called World Castings and they will tolerate a 10% higher lift. (that's 660).

I run a cam pretty close to that lift. Just clay a cylinder to be sure and check those pushrods (as I recall 7.4 was too long for me but I have accelerated lift Crane rockers so may be a little different)

Aren't the new grinds like that a bit? The new high lift from futral is very close.
I wonder if there is more air coming in the cylinder with more lift but the same duration...
