Below on the left is an LS2 sprocket... look at the trigger pattern vs. the (early) LS7 sprocket on the right. Note the LS7 sprocket on the right has the same trigger pattern as the single bolt sprocket sprocket shown above. The LS2 1X trigger pattern is a must... if you are running a 24x reluctor wheel on the crank. So, what I'm not sure of is if an LS2 1X trigger style cam sprocket is made with a single bolt.

 

I dont think there is a compatable cam sproket for the old crank reluctor. IMO there are many easier ways to go. If you are worried about cost use a LS6 cam instead.

If you really want that cam get Comp to make you one with the correct sensor positions.

 

LOL or just buy one of the ten bajillion ls1 gen iii cams that are already available
