Default 2008-2009 corvette LS3 cam

will the stock LS3 cam from a 2008 2009 vette fit in my 4.8.i know i would need ls6 springs but would i need to do anything else

Its a GEN IV engine. So I think the Cam position sensor is on the timing cover. You'd have to get an extension harness. Also, it only has 1 bolt on the cam gear vs 3 on the Gen III engines.

This is assuming you have a GEN III engine. What year is your truck?

That cam is way to small to be runnin around in the rgv...

Yea, you have a gen III. Get a cam from the classifieds.

it will work, but you will need better than LS6 yellow springs
a single center bolt cam gear
LS2/LS3 or up front cover with the sensor
extend your cam sensor from the rear to the front, with a harness or on your own
