You would just use your stock MAF sensor. The heads do not have VVT. That is part of the cam and such in the newer motor the heads came off of. Hope my ramble makes a bit of sense.....
Actually, even though it is an 02, I believe it is drive by wire, as I was under the impression that all of the SUV's were drive by wire.

Did you just use those adapter plates and run factory style rubber mounts when you did your LS swap???

So only traction control...ahhh, I thought that it was all SUV's. Allrighty, I'll try to commit that to the memory bank lol!

The painting process for the block was:
1. Pressure Wash
2. Clean with DX330
3. Sand with 220, 400, 600, wet.
4. Clean and DX330
5. Prime with my Primer that goes to my PPG Paint for the truck (European)
6. Sprayed out 2 layers of the Copperhead PPG Custom paint.
7. Sprayed 2 layers of PPG (eqivilent) clear.
8. Done!

Definitely not a rattle can job, but the accessory covers where. 3 coats of rattle can High temp engine paint (gray) and high temp engine clear on those.

Nice process, I didn't realize that you went through so much to make it look so good...I was already impressed with your work, now I'm totally and thoroughly impressed!
