let me introduce myself
im a new member here but not to the site, i would read some stuff here and there until finally decided to register
i ordered my truck mid september and got it mid october so it took roughly about 4 weeks to come in
i got an sl trim, i didnt want to go all out n get it fully loaded, cause i have some plans for it
while my truck was on order i purchased me some intro wheels, 24by9 for the front 26by12 on the rear, also bought me the 4inch djm control arms for it
after what seemed a long wait my truck came in, and i got to work on it, the 5.3 with 342 gears and the 6speed feel awesome, went to get a tune within the first week i had it but hp tuners didnt have an update for it, my tuner took in my file and sent it to hp tuner, i was supposed to go back to get it tuned but been busy with other stuff so havent gone back, wanted to run it at my local track stock, to see what 1/4 miles numbers it puts up then with the tune

a few stuff i forgot to mention im from south Texas
plans for it are many but i am working on the color match, wheel fitment, and static drop, tune as of now, interior and other details will come some time in january or later
all work is being done by me

Nice looking truck. I will follow this with interest. I'm pretty sure I'll end up in a 2014/2015 RCSB. Just waiting to see if Chevy will make the Cheyenne.

At first when I ordered it the manager told me he didn't know if they were gonna have that color available for the single cabs, maybe just mine since it was an order, I went by the dealer ship and they have one the exact same color but 4.3
From what I heard they have a hold on the 5.3 rcsb,

love the color since its similar to my 03, trucks have come a long way in 10 years. Keep us posted I would love to see the pics of it colormatched. Might want to throw in some fog lights

i went to the dealership to ask for the foglight but they dont have them available yet but i am workin on that too
