So since I started this I'll post what I got.
Edmunds.com is by far the best wedsite to search for a used 6.2. They have an option to pick factory packages and one of those tabs it for the 6.2 eco V8.
Well the wife and I drove to TN this weekend and picked up this 2014 6.2 with the 6speed. I wanted the max trailing 3.73 but that was about impossible to find one that was in as good of shape as this one with 3.42. with in 500 miles
Even stock this 6.2 feels so much better than my old 2008 6.2 denali. The crazy thing, that blew me away is cruising through the mountains of NC and TN it didn't down shift once to pull up a big hill. My old 6.2 would come out of 6 at the smallest mole hill on the hwy. And with 34" tires I got 19 mpg in the mountains. We are going 3 hours to the beach this weekend and I can't wait to see what it gets on a flat Hwy.
Atomic I'll be getting a hold of you really soon to tune it with headers. Later I'll do E85 conversion and hopefully boost. I was so close to adding boost to my last truck before it was totaled.
P.S. Not my style of rims, So they are going to be sold soon and I'm going to wrap the grill and bumpers myself to match the paint.

You can get the 6.5' bed with the crew cab on a half ton since the 2014 body change. Gm sells tons of them here that way. I too think its retarded you need an SLT or LTZ trim to get the 6.2... good thing I won't be buying one again in this lifetime lol. I like loaded cloth which my 17 HD is and will not buy another pleather interior.
