In 2014 on the 6.2 the 8 speed wasn’t an option right. Or did they give you the option of the 8 speed or the 6 speed??

Correct. No 8-speed in 2014.

If you had to chose between a 2014 6.2 6speed and a 2015 6.2 3.23 8speed. Both within a couple hundred dollar and the same higher mileage (90K). What would you rather have. I do tow a 7000 pound boat during the summer. But i think the 6.2 with the 8speed would be fine and still better than the old 6speed at towing.

I always buy higher mileage used trucks.

Get the 6 spd……...I know way too many people who've blown up the 8 spd. I absolutely loathe the 8 speed. As in the truck shown to the left which could never be cured of burning plug wires and the trans kept slipping. My best friend is gentle on his truck, 2015 tow option....Vengeance Racing has put two 8 speed turds in his truck. One was replaced with 2000 miles on it. Just go with me on this one...get the 6

Also.....I traded in my Raptor and my Corporate GM Card points. No payment. The truck is a lil slow, but, and please don't hammer me guys, that Raptor with it's six cylinders was pretty wicked after a tune and some piping changes.

Well, 35's with horrid 3.23 gearing is why it's slow lol.

Depending on what computer they went to, it may be a long long time before anyone can tune these truck or never.
