im tossing the idea of calling Trick Rick for another turbo kit. Ive learned a lot from my last truck. Id make the same power with half the cost and eliminate the headaches.

I can't believe you haven't already ordered a kit form Trick with as little trouble as you had with your last truck. You did what 60K miles boosted with a Trick kit?

i think its got more miles than that on that turbo kit. The trans was and is the problem with that truck. Never the turbo kit or engine I rebuilt to mild specs.

Say- with the 11 and 11.5: compression ratios of theL83 and L86 respectively, would an oil cooler be prudent seeing as GM has incorporated oil squirters to help cool the piston. Really appreciate how far we've come with these engines to the 12* valve angle we have today affording the shallow combustion chamber which doesn't take alotta spark advance to light things off...…...
