looks really good. I've thought about doing the LP5 hood and grill conversion on mine. But this looks really good too!!!!

thanks , ive heard of the LP5 hood people mention it but not sure what it is , Silverado HD hood? I haven’t nailed the sierra HD hood yet part number wise or atleast scored any locally. But thats the last thing to do and getting it painted. Im going to wait for that my borla type s is next maybe in the next coupke weeks and hopefully get cracking on the whipple install by oct

Here is a whole thread on it. It's just the hood on the diesels with a hood scoop. Appeartly if you just use the hinges from the HD and swtich the grill it fits right in. But don't quote me on that.

Looks really nice man. Great write up, love when people put all the little details in.

Makes me wonder what it would take to swap the HD Chevy hood with the scoop...
