what is needed to convert drum to disk on back?

Default what is needed to convert drum to disk on back?

i know there isnt much performance gain from it but the drums look like ***!especialy with oversized wheels. so i want to make the conversion

I've seen online bear brakes has a kit for this application, and I am pretty sure SSBC has a kit out there too. I do not know if the ABS works with these applications

Or you could get a escalade or denali rear that already has the disks, and anti-lock brakes. All then you would need to do is have the right brackets welded on. This would be the best answer if you want to keep your ABS system as I have been told the conectors are the same.

dont the ltz's have disk on back aswell?

Mikeith,

I am not to sure I'm just going off what I see through the wheels easily. I want disk brakes for my truck, but I would love to keep the ABS for safety reasons when I run loaded up.

you could get a rearend off a vortecmax...they have the disc plus a 9.5" ring gear too....nice upgrade.

you will also need to add a proportioning valve to

just foundout i had a direct hookup through ssbc!!!! looks like i'll be upgrading front too!!!

its gonna be spring before i do it all.... work is about to slow down drastically fr the winter so i gotta stop spending and start saving
