A 2.09 '60 isn't too bad for your big *** truck but getting it under a 2.0 would be ideal. Some drag radials will help or slicks like those guys said. Your trap speeds are high which means you have no problem rolling out once ya get going. You just need to get off the line faster if ya want better times.

I had the same problem with my old truck. Best '60 I ever had was a 2.1 I think. H/C 5.3
It was a dog off the line but once it got moving it would scoot. I kept most of my racing to the street because of that hahaha

Dont feel bad, I was messing with a buddy on the interstate thursday after work, and I broke loose at 75mph. Granted Im running a 275-30-24 tire, but it still wont hook at any speed. Im putting 295-30's on it wednesday, so hopefully that helps a little.

Get BF Goodrich G Forces. That is the grippiest tire ever. I had them on my old SS and those things are monster.

I dont believe in those calculators cause with my 420ci i trapped 94mph with a 7.6 with a stock converter and the one only pass i made with a 4000 converter i trapped 7.8@ 96 mph but i did spin off the line some.
Now i do know i only dynoed 475 rwhp with a unlocked converter and no where close to 6xx
