Default tool box?

i have a 2011 crew cab extra short bed sierra 1500 and i am interested in a chest style box that sits down in the bed. do not want anything on the rail. i've always had a regular length short box and the distance from the wheel well the the front of the bed is longer. anyone have what i am looking for? i'd love to see a pic. i've been searching for a while now and no luck seeing what i am interested in.

I'm looking at the same thing. eBay offers a few alternatives, but all u can do is take their dementions then measure it to your bed. I'm planning on buying my box after I get my linex bed liner.

I just got one of the black plastic boxes from Menards.. has locks on it.. and you can easily attach with a few capscrews thru the bed floor or leave loose so you can throw it out when you wanna haul say..... an LT5 or something...

LOL

i like the notched tool box in the link! thanks. i will look into it a bit more. hope they have an option for a steel non diamond plate style. i want to get a black one and eventually color match it.

i have seen many sites that just list dimensions but was hoping to see some actual pictures of a chest style box in an extra short bed. just never had this set up before.

i'd prefer steel over aluminum anyway. plus every black aluminum box i've ever seen ends up flaking at some point.
