Trim the tip off of the boots that are touching or tie wrap them up towards the coil bracket

I use the msd wires. You can bend the boots to miss the headers

They touch and melt down just a hair, but they dont get damaged. I just got some wire shrouds for two of the boots that touch.

well yes and no..i only have one that touchs..and it hasnt melted down..but it did start to arc threw right where it touchs..i never noticed anything but lastnite i was checkin my header bolts and could see alil arc since it was dark out wasnt enought i could see in durning the day.

anyways i guess il just shave one down and see if that last..might but a fiberheat shield around that one just to be safe

edit..i just shaved one down and i think i should have enough clearance now..i hope lol

I wonder if boot covers would be helpful for you.

I was running Taylor "409"s on mine to clear my Calspeed's but they were still just barely touching, I just ordered a set of MSD's and a couple heat boots just to be sure. Plug wires are soo important it isnt worth taking a chance of wrecking one at the wrong time!!!

I'm currently about to install my longtubes, and i was reccomended these. The quality looks good and they come in different colors. I think it was fairly priced too. http://cableorganizer.com/insultherm-spark/

Those are the exact ones I bought, only put the 2 that were touching on so far but they really do look great(ordered the black ones) theyre a tight fit on the factory boots but still fit well. They were the best price I could find for a set of 8 when I was looking as well...
