Interested to see how this goes. I spent a lot of time deciding between the vortech version of the 2.3 and a maggie.

No news yet, I'm still waiting to hear word on shipment. I thought I might see if I could get some stock 1/4 mile times in at a local test and tune, but the weather is still a little unpredictable (got 9" of snow overnight). Edit: just checked and the closest dragway doesn't open for another 52 days! Looks like I might need to find one during one of my business trips down south.

I got my truck back up and cruising around last night.

Went from the stock 3.625" pulley to a 3.375" pulley. Swapped out the Whipple stock 46# injectors for some stock motorsport injectors from a new Shelby 500 which are 55# injectors I believe. Also went from the stock MAP sensor to a new GM 2Bar sensor from a cobalt SS. We got the tune funtional last night for just general driving around and have plans to head out to the local 1/4 track tonight to adjust the tune and in the end try to get some decent times.

Just need to install the aeroforce wideband after finishing up with the tuning wideband we are using and the truck should be finished for a few months before I decide to buiild up the driveline.

Posted an update in my other thread in the forced induction section, but the truck went 12.896 last night at 105.19 in full weight with the 22" wheels and nothing but hot laps as we worked on the tune.

Wow , sounds good. Going in the right direction.

What do you have on it for exhaust?

Great! Mid to low 13's would be quite a goal for me!

I don't know what elevation your closest track is at, but I would think that the stock whipple setup and stock exhaust would be good for something around a 13.3 to 13.4 in good conditions.

Well, my brother lives only a few miles from Norwalk so I will probably just drive to his house on Wednesdays and run there during T&T.

UPDATE: got the box today. Unfortunately, I have no idea when I will be able to install it as my work season if fast approaching and I will be swamped.
