the 2.9l whipple is a nice piece and will outperform most positive displacment kits out there because of the blower being quite a bit bigger . interested in how it does at 8 psi . a comparison between a 2300 on the same motor would be nice to see how iat's and boost comes into play.
also if you dont mind what is one of these kits going for retail?
a friend of mine has installed alot of these on sand cars and a few trucks . he just got this setup finished .
this was one he did a while back

The kits are the 2.3L blower, not the 2.9L which is offered for the Camaros. You could likely do a custom kit, but their ready to install and drive kits for these trucks are just 2.3L as far as I know.
With this in mind it would be nice to see what the OP gets from his kit bone stock and compare it to others with the 2300 TVS bone stock on the same motor.
I think the pricing is around $6,400.

Yes the kit comes with the 2.3L unit. I paid right around $6,000 for it. I know you can get it cheaper if you look around. I'm definitely interested in what it is capable of right out of the box on a stock engine.

Not many people running it right now. Bdubb is the only one that I know of on this forum and his update can be found on the first page of this thread. Unfortunately, his truck is hard to dyno (mine too) so there isn't much to go on for dyno results. His first 1/4 mile times show promise and he is doing some more work to fix a few issues. I will be installing this kit on a 100% stock truck and will try hard to get some dyno's posted. I guess I just wanted to buck the TVS trend and go a little different path.
