I consider both of my issues minor. You just might want to consider getting your rims first then lower it. I have ocd and it drives me crazy having my lower balljoint stud cut. And the upper balljoint taper not looking "seated" is pretty common from what I read.

if the ball joint seats then I will be fine. my reason for lowering first is because I hate looking at these trucks or any truck for that matter with nice after market bigger rims with miles and miles of gap between that and the fenders at least lowering it now if it is drivable I can get it set up and prepared before the rims.
if I have to wait then I'll have to wait for a long while because they will both have to be done at the same time.
alright so I have my system done now I'm lowering in june if I can come up with the additional funds these are the wheels I've be looking at but not sure on the fitment and how much I'm wanting to lower the truck these are the specs for this rim
anyone know have any experience with this size and specs advice would be appretiated thanks.
I will be following this post. I just ordered the 4/6 from them for my 2011 crew cab. It will likely be a while before install though because I'm overseas.
