Default Wheel spacers

I've heard good and bad about wheel spacers. Are they a good investment/idea? Or an accident waiting to happen?

Ive ran 2" spacers on my crewcab with 34s and 35s for last 60k miles, during that time truck has made over 500 +rwhp...also during that time ive logged alot of miles towing 7000-10,000 lbs

During that time ive also made quarter mile passes at race track

I had some on my truck making 800+

I suggest using the billet ones that have their own studs. I think a lot of the problems come from guys using the smaller ones and the lug nuts not being able to fully engage the studs.

I've ran them on several trucks, the stud style, ranging from 1-2 inches in thickness. I was using the cheap ebay aluminum ones too.

Never had a problem.
