did you use a high temp paint on that?
I've been considering a header wrap on the pipe under the trans pan, try stop any radiating heat.
truck sounds really good too!
driven it yet?
Its VHT 550* paint. Eh idk if itll hold up if not ill paint it with the 2000* vht.

Drove it down the road...that yank is SUPER tight like a stock converter tight.

Is that good or bad for you? Thats why i choose yank over all other companys there converters are tight and badass for DDs

The tighter converter causes braking issues just like a stock converter did. Basically it becomes extremely hard to brake in stop and go traffic.

Looks like ill be swapping to hydroboost next year

Got 280 miles on it so far and its really fun to drive even on the old tune. Havent been over 40% throttle though

I like the way the y pipe came out. No issues with those flanges sealing? Welds look good too. In for videos.

They dont seal perfect like a vband but they seal better than a band clamp and its easy to.remove and install the y pipe. Im pretty happy with the way the truck drives.
I started driving it to work to try and rack up some more miles. Hopefully ill be able to get it to the track before the end of the year but idk just yet.


I punched on it a little today and it feels way stronger than the old combo
