I'm surprised the steel wheels weigh so much. Per Centerline's website, their 20s weigh 24 lbs!

 

I think my 17 Centerlines are actually under 20 or right on it. I will measure this time home when I get the old tires off them.

 

Looks like the stock 17" aluminuminums are the way to go!

 

One corner is about 70 lbs as far as i remember. Tires are 38 pounds. I'll verify when I work on the brakes.
Bigger wheels have more inertia, but these steelies are still way fuggin heavy. My dad is giving me his stock ('01 silvy) aluminum 16's. Almost wish they fit over the front brakes, I'll have two sets of burnout tires and end up with two wheels for 26" slicks, and two to sell.
