Id like to get from the ypipe back if possible but Id settle for muffler to tailpipe with resonator. Looking to quieten down my truck while still keeping decent flow. Let me know what you got

I looked for about 6 months before I found one. Everyone just cuts out the muffler and welds in a new one....

Yeah that's exactly what I plan on doing so the muffler will be available with less than 10 miles on it soon after I get my truck.

You realize that there is a resonator in the tailpipe too right?

Hell, let me get a good look at it and it may just all be coming off at the same time, if that the case then it will be available.

I'm not putting headers because I am going with twin turbos on it so I was just going to delete the cats, swap in a little more free flowing muffler and lose the resonator for a while.

Youd basically just hack off the muffler back and weld on your choice of muffler with a turndown or chop the resonator out and replace with 3.5" pipe. If I havent found one by the time youre ready to do it, Id pay a decent price for your complete catback and Im sure Ill be at one of the Crandall meets in a few months. When are you planning on doing it? Ive got a couple leads on some but nothing concrete yet. I basically created this thread knowing most of the 6.2 guys frequent this section and may think of this thread later on when/if they decide to swap exhausts. As well as if you see one laying around somewhere.
