Default If I install a Magnacharger, what else is needed?

I have a 2011 6.2l with AR headers 1-3/4", airaid jr intake, and Blackbear tuning. If I install a magnacharger, wil the transmission be fine? What about the driveshaft?

Anybody regretted installing one? Worth it?

A fuel pump upgrade for sure. If you truck is factory flex fuel it may be big enough, they tend to support 500whp on pump gas.

If the supercharger kit comes with injectors you won't need them but if not then you will.

Buy a 2 bar or 3 bar MAP sensor so you can tune the computer for boost.

Get a real tune, done in person from someone. I would not trust email tuning for this. There is just way to much that you need to work on all at once, playing the waiting game is not a good idea. The engine side and transmission will need attention to make it all jive together. If the transmission is healthy it should have a problem with adding a blower to it. They are very tough and the tuning is what makes them last.

If you have the factory rear drive shaft, replace it. They are not speed rated above 100mph from the factory in the first place. You are pushing your luck anytime you go above that speed.

I have a maggie on my 08 6.0 runs great, it is about 90lbs of metal your bolting on in place of a plastic intake if that matters. I just upgraded to walbro 450 not because the pump could not keep up just because I had my bed off to update suspension and that old pump has been in these since 2008. I run a 2.8 pulley with bigger crank pulley for a bit more boost since I also have heads and long tubes which will flows more air and would lower boost number, I also upgraded injetors to 85lb. +1 on a real tune done while on a dyno, best money you will spend and appreciate. Get a good belt, Gates green ones or you will hear belt slipping due to spooling up, I snapped 3 already (continental, goodyear). Not sure if the new kits come with upgraded tensioner pulley but I snapped mine after 6 months.

As for transmission, i blew 3 4l60 before I upgraded to 80e, lol maybe my fault as i would get on the pedal often but then what fun is the maggie.

Love my Magnuson! Can't beat the torque. Drove a big single turbo car last week and was left missing the instant power of my PD blower.

like everyone else will say fuel, tune and drivetrain should be upgraded to handle it.

Your 2011 6.2 is an L9H which means you already have the flex fuel pump and injectors so you will not need to upgrade your fuel pump unless you plan on running a smaller pulley than what the kit comes with. The Magnacharger kit will come with everything you need minus a tune. The 6l80e is a very strong transmission and will be fine. Your driveshaft is fine unless you plan to go over 100mph. Above 100 mph they tend to flex and rip apart. This is more prevalent on the 2wd driveshafts as they are longer than the 4x4 driveshafts.

I have a brand new Magnacharger TVS1900 kit I decided not to install I am about to put up for sale shortly that would fit your truck (purchased from Blackbear earlier this year)....PM me if you are interested, I could sell it to you at a better price than anywhere else...Also Justin at Blackbear was going to give me a free tune when I installed the Magnacharger, if you purchased it from me he may be willing to tune it for you for free since you are already a customer and I never installed it.

Why did you decide to not use your kit?

If I can't sell it I might still install it. Really the only reason I decided I want to get rid of it is I am looking for a 01-02 WS6 and I was going to put the Magnacharger money towards mods on that vehicle and just leave my daily alone(already LS3 swapped).
