Default Anything else needed for j-tube swap?

I got a 90mm j-tube coming,wanted to see if theres anything else needed for the swap,besides a 90mmtb,i already ported mine,could i still run my tb?

Also how did you guys swap them out?still on vehicle?

You need some anaerobic sealant to go between the s/c housing and the j-tube.

I'm not sure what the bolt patterns are on the two, so I don't know the answer to that question.

Why would you switch to a 90mm j-tube and not get a matching TB? I strongly recommend you upgrade the TB soon, otherwise the gains from the j-tube won't be seen.

If youre 08 78mm T/b is the same as my 03 then it will not bolt up as the 78mm has 3 bolts and the 90mm has 4 bolts so the 78mm will not bolt up to the 90mm j-tube. I was able to swap out the my j-tube while the S/c was on the truck.

This is my TB,its a 4bolt and i ported the crap out of it.

He ordered a 90mm J-Tube because we thought his TB was the old style 78mm. When he posted pictures of his TB I recognized it as the truck division 90mm. So his truck cam from the factory with a 90mm on his 4.8.
