Default I might be joining the 6.2 club. Got a couple questions

Ok, so I found a guy locally selling a L92 long block with 60k miles for 1500 bux. This seems to be a good price, but I will need an intake and injectors because the 5.3 intake will not work because of the port differences. So i know i need an intake, but what else will i need to drop it in? What about my headers? Will they bolt up to the heads? I know people say you need to upgrade to the 1 7/8 but if i can i would like to reuse my 1 3/4 headers i have now because there only a few months old and id like to cam the motor and rebuild the trans when i pull it all out so headers would really add to that expense.

Don't just buy an intake for it. Get the $3500 Magnacharger TVS that's in the classifieds.

I did see that, and while that would be nice it kinda blows the whole budget idea out the water, lol

Plus this poor ole 4l60e would get nuked by all that power even with the rebuild, lol

It's nice having some displacement under the hood. Do it.
