Hell yea 6.2 hoss!!! Took 5 weeks to come in....I'll open a new thread and post some pics when it's nice outside. The Z71 interior is super sweet with the 2-tone leather the brushed stainless instead of the woodgain. Looks nicer than my Denali inside... not as paw paw without the woodgrain! She needs some wheels and tint bad!

Hmm is the Z71 interior the same on chevy's? The woodgrain is the only reason I didnt get an LTZ. I did however get buckets...bose..and all that jazz.

Not sure about the packages on Chevy's... Woodgrain is certainly not for everyone. GM should be more flexable with options...

Yep, Just the 5.3's and 6.0's have it...Go figure. I attached a L9H data sheet from GM's website...

I was able to order my 2010 with the 3.73's the plant called back a couple weeks later and said 3.73's are not availiable because I had the Z71 package. I only ordered the Z71 package for the interior, so tell me what the heck does drivetrain have to do with interior? I explained what I wanted they said the sytem has become to automated.

Can't even order the truck you want now days...WTF GM?

My dad just bought a 2010 2wd CC GMC SLE 6.2L/6L80 for $32k. Its black and has the trailer pkg (tranny cooler, 3:73s, etc. ). Certainly a far cry from the Denali price.

It runs pretty good, but it seems to be really held back by the computer, especially between shifts.

The 2-3 and 3-4 upshift points are set at 5,400rpm stock when the 6.2 makes peak HP @ 5,700rpm and never really falls out with VVT. Makes no sense to me... If GM would at least let this motor wind out Toyota Tundra would get smoked bad stock for stock.
