i dont think it will take much to make a 6.2 run 12's..
this might sound crazy and again dont quote me on this but i was told by someone, dont know who in the rgv area ran a 13.2 in a sierra denali with only CAI and tune! again i just heard from a friend... but as much as i think its BS it could just possibly be a freak.. since ive seen many with the same mods run 13.7 and 13.8.. i just thought id share lol...

Yup, I think an Ext Cab 2wd could go 12.9's with full bolt on's. There was a 2008 6.2L AWD Yukon runnin 13.2's with headers, varram intake, HP Tuners (no UD Pulley or Stall). He recently added a CAM that put him mid 12's. That vehicle is right at 800 lbs more than an extended cab sierra...

Sierra Ext Cab w/6.2L = 5,027 lbs for 2wd or 5,263 lbs for 4wd
Sierra Denali Crew Cab = 5,234lbs for 2wd or 5,412lbs for AWD
Yukon Denali = 5,584 lbs for 2wd or 5,732 lbs for AWD
So...an AWD Yukon is 705 lbs heavier than the lightest 6.2L option (2wd Ext Cab)...
How many 10ths would you gain by dropping 700 lbs? Assuming traction is not a factor...

Yea and they finally make a true silver now. So of course thats what I bought with the Z71 appearance package so everything is painted...bumpers...handles....mirrors...like my sig pic. Taking the 224/236 .608/.618 112lsa cam out of my vette that made 484rwhp cam only and putting it into the truck ha ha
