Default Getting her fixed

well for now im going to put new stock pistons and lower the boost for now any ideas on a stroker? 408, 414, or 418? throw some ideas at me guys dont wanna go too crazy maybe hit the 700rwhp mark and call it for a daily/strip fun truck

Keep the cubes low, no real need for large cubes when you're boosted

I disagree when you want some serious torque without having to rev higher. The gen4 based blocks have longer sleeves anyway so definately do a stroker. I vote 402 to keep the walls as thick as possible. Lot of piston choices in 4.005"

its a 6.2 so probably closer to a 414. i say run some 4.065 forged pistons with the factory crank and rods...

I say throw a low mileage 5.3 in it and crank up the boost
If it lets go again, another $800 swap and roll on. The 4.8/5.3s seem to be holding with decent boost/numbers.

Sounds like a plan but I'd like to get a built motor this time around I'm down 2 6.2s now

Safe tune but I didn't run a fuel additive on a very could weather first one gave out at 717rwhp
