Default Dash Crack on 07+?

Got into my truck this morning and pulled out of the driveway, and POP got a small crack in the passenger side dash, thin point near the corner of the airbag lid.

This is the first I've heard of any dash cracking issues on the NNBS trucks, just wanting to know if anyone else has had this problem?

Pisses me off.

Yup. Well that sucks. I've had more issues with the interior of this truck than anything else. The latch/lock on the underseat storage broke (luckily still under warranty)

Then the passenger side door speaker just stopped working (thanks Schino for the replacements)

Then the latch on the center jump seat storage broke--(not under warranty and even though the parts break down and they show the latch available--GM will not sell it to you) I refuse to pay 300-400 for another jump seat.

And now the dash cracks.

Man I should have traded the truck in last weekend. Seems like all the little things are starting to add up and I see the value dropping.

I wonder if it's a heat issue. You guys are from Texas and Saudi Arabia, so maybe that's a factor. My dash is still fine and I have an 07

Sorry to hear about your issues. I have an '07 Tahoe thats about to roll over 100,000 miles and I haven't had any dash cracking. It gets pretty hot where I'm at too, so I don't think thats an issue.
