Great, now just need to get the converter ordered up. I have a 20% off code for use at autoanything.com and they sell kooks headers so i may go with kooks instead of ARH for the big savings. I have had kooks in the past and they are nice as well.

The code won't cover headers.

You can get a set of TSP headers or Speed Engineering headers with their ypipe and splice high-flow cats in. I did it with my TSP headers and it worked out great.

I left the front of the cats band-clamped and on band-clamp in the year so I can still remove the ypipe if I have to.

I run the pacesetter 1 7/8" for the gmt800 model. I cut the egr port off welded it up, and moved the o2 sensors and welded the old holes up.

too much work for me and no welder.

Quick question, will the 14+ headers/y pipe fit mine?

I am curious if you ever went thru with this. I'm in a similar boat except for slightly different truck. 2011 crew 4x4 5.3 6speed with 4.11s and 20s. I have Doug Thorley tri-y's waiting to be installed and I'm strongly considering a Circle D 278mm at the same time. "Ask Chris" suggested the 278mm in 3000-3200.

Just makes me nervous with the wife driving it sometimes and its a family hauler on the weekends. Otherwise I just race it around (figuratively speaking) during the week and a converter sounds like a blast. Not a HUGE investment for what sounds like a big SOTP kick.

So, did you ever get one??
