14.36@ 91 at mokan (asbury,mo) today. did 8 runs, 5 of them were 14.3x-14.55. Hitting the speed limiter early and coasting the line. why did my truck get a 91 mph limiter?

I ran a 12.9 @ 84 this weekend at SAR...

The trans didn't like the abuse and went into limp mode right before the 1/8. Unfortunately when it did, I was still spraying and burnt three plugs up and probably screwed up one of the heads. We will find out soon. She had an 11 in her for sure, but the trans just didn't want the abuse in 4x4 and cut TCM communication.

Not bad for a new truck, still stock???
a tune will fix your limiter.

All stock only 700 miles. I'm leary of ruining my warranty by having it tuned... planning to start another thread on this subject.

I think basic bolt ons and a tune will be ok and most shops shouldn't hassle you to much. It all comes down to them proving what you did is what cause something that is OEM to fail.

I still have the factory and extended warranty on my truck and have the basic boltons with a tune and will be adding a supercharger here in the next few days and still plan to push my warranty if something breaks. I might not win, but I will make them work to prove what failed is cause of what I did. It also pays to know a few people in the shop that are performance nuts also

Comes down to you have to pay to play
